Single Player Project - Final Fantasy XIV

Post by conan513 » Wed Jul 24, 2019 8:48 am

FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn server package, based on Sapphire emulator.

Source:
https://github.com/SapphireServer/Sapphire

!!! THE SERVER IS IN EARLY STAGE OF THE DEVELOPMENT !!!
Not every game mechanism included yet.
I tested only the tutorial quest line and it's fully playable, but side quests totally missing.

Included
- MariaDB 10.1.21
- Compiled Sapphire servers
- Compiled Sapphire game launcher
- Auto update system
- Everything is preconfigured, just run and play

How to use:
1. Watch the tutorial video
2. You need the game (free trial available): https://freetrial.finalfantasyxiv.com/
3. Extract the SPP-Sapphire folder into the SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn folder
(Server must be there or it won't start)
4. Run the servers and the game like in the video

Download

You are a genius thanks, but you could upload the file to MEGA or another server since the direct download is super slow, sorry for the inconvenience.

No matter what i do, I can't get the api.exe to work, at my wits end with this, thought I'd post here asking for helpl. Logs are saying I've got the wrong data path, yet it is set as specified in the wiki: DataPath = C:\\Program Files (x86)\\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\\game\\sqpack

I've also tried DataPath = C:\\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\\game\\sqpack

Thought that port 80 being blocked might be causing the issue, despite the logs saying it's a datapath error, so tried the following:

Adding firewall rules in Win 10 and in router
Adding exceptions in Defender and Firewall
Turning off SSDP, Function Discovery Service, Firewall, Defender, and using TCP View to see if anything else is blocking port 80... nothing. Uninstalled Skype as well, still no joy
Setting permissions and running as administrator on all files

Not sure else what to do, about to give up on this, thought I'd sign up and aski here first, if anyone can shed any light on this it would be much appreciated. Thank you for the repack by the way :)
