I apologize for 3 messages, the problem was solved, I am not the only one who encountered this, so I will describe it solution:
Due to client localization, the file "patch-4.mpq" should be renamed to "patch-ruRU-4.mpq", the Symbol "-ruRU-" according to your localization, for example, zuZU should be renamed as "patch-zuZU-4.mpq", and clean it in "WoW\Data\zuZU" or " WoW\Data\ruRU".

Hello! Thank you, conan and team, so much for all your work and care on this excellent project.

I wonder is it possible for me to modify the names used by randomly generated bots? Most of the random bots' names don't feel like they fit into the world. I would be glad to do the legwork if I knew how; I thought I might have found how to do it, but failed repeatedly.

Thanks, all, for considering.

In case anybody else wonders about my question, on the Discord's english channel, searching the number 100,329 should find you all about it.

Been using this server for a few years now. Truly amazing work. My only question is how in the original screenshots did you get the chance on hit to proc shadowbolt for the random enchant module? Ive been searching around for this one for awhile but can never find it.

I did everything possible, updated world with owned core site, used update.bat but when it comes down to ready check in the lfg it never works even though bots select their role, any help?

FIgured it out, btw if you want a really cool experience, download Truewow and legion models from there too and place in data folder. You get all of WOTLK with updated graphics

I love TCR2. It's actually my favourite WoW Repack ever made. Mind you, I perfer 8.1 of it. Something was off with the bots in v10.

I just group with my own bots / alts and plow through dungeons. I tend to not use Solocraft / Autobalance... I find those a bit too harsh on nerfing elites in dungeons.

I turn those off, but go in to CREATURE SETTINGS in the config, and nerf the damage they do. Tend to keep their health high enough to make the fights last. Increase the gold drops to x5, reputation to x3... then I take the leveling requirements from Vanilla, and put those in... then the original 2.4.3 leveling requirements from 60-70, and then the original 3.3.5a leveling to 80. Makes the game take a good while, so you're not skipping quests / zones.

Go through each dungeon at least once. On and on. This one is always the best for joining with alts / bots, as the Ikebotui makes controlling them super easy.

If you want to have even more fun, combine your spells with commanding the bots through macros.

Example:

/w TANK cast Charge
/w Mage STAY
/w Warlock STAY
/w Hunter STAY

Gives that sort of tank pulling effect to gather some threat. It's really endless. I have all my ranged macro'd to one where they all cast their AOE's at the same time... makes trash mobs a real breeze to bulldoze.

Ty Conan and Team. I truly love TCR2

first of all i want to say that SPP trinitycore R2 works wonderfully. thanks for your hard work devs. it's absolutely fun.

but I have some questions left that I hope to get answered here.

- is it possible for bots to sign up for arena for example 2v2? if so, how I do that?
- do playerbots only work in warsong or is it possible for them to sign up in other bgs as well?

thank you very much for an answer.

Hi!

I think this repack is really awesome with the busy world! :)

Excellent!

---

can i implement?
https://github.com/trickerer/Trinity-Bots
or would it lead to errors?

---
a few questions apart:
- how can i remove the bot limit of 160? or is that the maximum?
- why does it happen that horde is hostile to me as a horde player
- the dungeon browser is always empty? Why
- how can i order the hybrid classes to choose another talent (tank / heal) for instances?

Question --

I have everything up and running .. plays really well.
However ... most of the races have no facial graphics.
Its just a blank slate, usually darker in color.

Anyone know how to fix this?
Thank you.

You can't add more things to this, as it's a repack. You would have to recompile from scratch.

> - how can i remove the bot limit of 160? or is that the maximum?

Go into: SETTINGS/Bots.conf
Change #'s on:
- AiPlayerbot.MinRandomBots =
- AiPlayerbot.MaxRandomBots =

I put 500 as mine on min and max. Works well.
Also tweak

AiPlayerbot.DeleteRandomBotAccounts = 0

to

AiPlayerbot.DeleteRandomBotAccounts = 1

Then when the server is fully loaded, type .rndbot reset in to the console

Then close it. Next, go back to the SETTINGS/Bots.conf and change it back.
So,

AiPlayerbot.DeleteRandomBotAccounts = 1

to

AiPlayerbot.DeleteRandomBotAccounts = 0

Fire up the server, and it will populate with the new number of bots.

> - why does it happen that horde is hostile to me as a horde player

Open: SETTINGS/World.conf

Control F to find what we need. Type GameType

See if it says GameType = 16. If so we need to change that.
0 = Normal
1 = PVP
4 = Normal
6 = RP
8 = RPPVP
16 = FFA_PvP or Free For All PvP

> - the dungeon browser is always empty? Why?

I have this too. I don't use dungeon finder. I .tele to the dungeons instead sadly, and reward myself after I complete the dungeon with the gold, and satchel dungeon finder has listed.

> - how can i order the hybrid classes to choose another talent (tank / heal)
> for instances?

This I don't know. I just create alts, and spec them myself, and then add them with macros. Such as,

.bot add yourtank
.bot add yourhealer
.bot add yourmage
.bot add yourwarlock
/invite yourtank
/invite yourhealer
/invite yourmage
/invite yourwarlock

Mind you, log in to them / build them ahead of time. Spec and gear them yourself even, and then when you add and invite them, they're ready to roll. Hope this helps <3

@SuperLongCat

Could you share your settings with me so I can mirror everything you mentioned here? Everything you mentioned sounds really good! Feel free to direct message me. Would love to peek at your set up. Heck maybe even pick your brain more :D

Hey Frog. Sorry for the delay. Let's chat in the public forum, so others who are reading this can also benefit from our discussion. First, let's start with what you do know about running a server, and your tweaks.

Are you just learning now, or do you have some experience.

@SuperLongCat

Its okay and sounds good! :D

I guess you can say I'm still learning. I regularly play with world.config. I've copied lua scripts and added them to my server(And also taken some out). I'm pretty comfortable with navigating through things. Like most here I do lots of trial and error. hehe

I'm trying to make the bots a little more user friendly. I don't mind micro managing them but the current interface with them makes it really painful lol. I really wish I could get the mangosbot UI addon to work with this one. (https://github.com/ike3/mangosbot-addon) Or something equivalent.
